Van Arti-lid Tom Rooduijn verscheen dit jaar het ‘De Voorloper’ bij De Bezige Bij. Volgens Het Parool is het “een subliem portret van de avant-garde en een dapper relaas van een moeizame vader- zoonrelatie.” Tijdens deze kunstlievende ledenborrel neemt de schrijver ons mee in het leven van zijn vader en schetst met beeldmateriaal de geschiedenis van de roemruchte galerie en sociëteit Le Canard in de Spuistraat, vlak bij Arti.

Senad Alic - Migratie en kunst
Senad Alic (Sarajevo – Bosnië en Herzegovina, 1960) is een maatschappelijk betrokken illustrator en autonoom beeldend kunstenaar. Hij is verhalenverteller, conceptontwikkelaar, gastdocent, trainer en hij maakt kunst met kinderen en jongeren in azc's en met volwassenen in wijken en instellingen. Het gaat altijd over kunst, ‘de vlucht’, identiteit, diversiteit, onderweg zijn en ontmoetingen. Hij toont zijn werk in de nieuwe ledententoonstelling UPDATE 1 en op zondagmiddag 13 april is er een gesprek met publiek op basis van zijn werken.

The connection became known: the Brazilian wood, Pau Brasil, Caesalpinia Echinata, which was grated in the penitentiary the “Rasphouse” by inmates to obtain red dye for the textile industry.

Drainspotting | Alex Fischer

Pulling Strings is an exhibition initially developed around the idea of the marionette.
