Arti choir summer performance
The Arti Choir festively ushers in the summer with an atmospheric concert in the society of Arti et Amicitiae. On Wednesday evening, June 25, the choir will take you through time in a musical journey of about an hour.
We begin in the 16th and 17th centuries, with beautiful early music. This will be followed by a special interlude, provided by conductor Adriaen van der Veen and pianist Heleen Verleur. The conductor sings two Neapolitan songs, after which Heleen Verleur performs her own compositions.
Then we make a jump to the vibrant 1920s: the roaring twenties, an era full of energy and optimism.
After the concert, you are welcome to join the Arti Choir for dinner to enjoy the summer evening and each other's company.
We hope to see you there!
