'Lost cargo/Lost cargo'
Porcelain was once called the 'white gold' and transported from China to Europe. On the way, the cargo sometimes sank to the seabed due to shipwreck; a lost cargo. There, over the centuries, it was broken, discoloured and piled up. We find it troublesome when a product loses its original function and beauty, but the value remains, and valuable in its new beauty, porcelain is still "the white gold`". The ArtSpace features a number of porcelain wall objects and sculptures from the "Lost Cargo/Lost Cargo" series.

'Drawn colours'
The drawings in this exhibition in the ArtSpace are about drawn colour, its intensity and character. By drawing layer upon layer intensively with different drawing materials on various substrates and types of paper, right down to sandpaper, sometimes using contrast colours, the core of the colour is "forced" to show itself, as it were. In some cases, a top layer enhances the colour.
