Welcome (to) Sprouts 2025!

We would like to invite you to the festive opening of the anniversary edition of SPROUTS 2025 on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 16.00h in the Arti et Amicitiae society.

With the exhibition SPROUTS 2025, an alumni program can be seen in Arti et Amicitiae. In collaboration with the Foundation for Visual Arts (SBK), a selection of young academy leavers has been invited to the presentation 'SPROUTS' in the artist society. Arti offers recently graduated artists a stage and a membership to the Amsterdam artists' association.

Artists: Nino Angelo, Nazhifah Aisy, Nikki Vroom, Hara Athanaspoulou, Tijn Gerards, Madeline Olmer, Sam Reekers, Sara van Vliet.

The SPROUTS exhibition provides an up-to-date picture of the world of young artists. Intimate perspectives on the body are shared with us, we see artists as researchers of form and space, humorous critiques of social relations, personal reactions to digital techniques and reflections on the landscape and nature.

The SPROUTS, who live and work throughout the Netherlands and Europe, may consider Arti their Amsterdam home base in the coming years. Alumni evenings are organized with opportunities for lectures, meetings and discussions and opportunities to exhibit. Arti would like to share the experience and knowledge that is available among members, artists, art-loving members and employees of Arti and the SPROUTS will surprise Arti with new ideas. For the next five years, they will be offered a reduced membership.

Opening: Friday, January 17, 2025 at 4 p.m.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 12:00 - 17:00 (after 17.00 hrs members only with the exception of events)

Organisation: The selection of the exhibitions SPROUTS is in the hands of the SBK.
The alumni program is a collaboration between Arti (Bülent Evren) and the SBK.
