Bazar of Peace | Caro Bensca
From 28 January to 6 February 2026, Caro Bensca will use the Artspace of Arti et Amicitiae as her studio. During this period, the artist will present the sculptural work The Peacewalker as the centerpiece of her growing installation Bazar of Peace.
The Peacewalker is an homage to the pacifist song Prayer of the Mothers, written and performed by Yael Deckelbaum. It also symbolizes Bensca’s intention, as a creative individual, to take a more active stance in contributing to world peace. She was deeply moved when she first heard the song and saw the accompanying video, and the sculpture is an expression of that impact.
Come by to reflect together on the notion of peace, and take part in the clothing swap. Exchange, wear, and/or donate white clothing—historically worn by women’s movements as a protest against war.
