Our Love of Green

From 9 September onwards, divine green descends upon the walls of Arti's Society, for all eternity. Correction: nothing lasts forever, and much of green least of all.

We at Smakelijke Kunst invited artists to share their most beautiful, remarkable and cherished favourite shade of green. Anything was welcome: from a green painting to the scent of green soap, a green ceiling or green chewing gum. Ah, green is so versatile and carries so many positive associations. Green is the most common colour on our planet, if we exclude the colours of the oceans and melting ice.

Wear as much green as possible. Cherish green. During the exhibition, the soup will be green, and there will be green booklets. We are green, and we will remain green until 11 October.
