Wellness, Wigs and Weapons
In Wellness, Wigs and Weapons, the exhibition space is transformed into a series of uncanny boutiques. Wellness, wigs and weapons are brought together in unexpected ways, blurring the boundaries between human, object and environment.
Health and Sanity Check
During Museumnacht, Bein van Vilsteren and Marianne Theunissen present Health and Sanity Check. In this interactive performance, they engage in dialogue with the dozens of objects, furnishings, merchandise and wigs that populate the exhibition. Are they mentally sound? Do they use the bathroom? Can merchandise ever really be clean? How do wigs feel when placed next to weapons? And what is the price of wellness?
Van Vilsteren and Theunissen use a scoring system that bears an unsettling resemblance to the world around us.
Interactive performance — 30 minutes
Start times: 20:00 and 22:00

Sails of Anarchy
Sails of Anarchy is a theatrical musical performance by Amsterdam-based art-rock collective Cold in Church, presented as part of their exhibition of the same name.
Combining multichannel sound, painting, kinetic light and costume, the performance expands the fictional world of their concept album Convent into an immersive spatial installation. It also marks the release of the album.
The title is taken from the closing track of Convent, in which a speculative vessel transforms and embarks on a mythical voyage. Through immersive sound and theatrical interventions, the performance brings maritime histories into dialogue with the present, drawing on pirate mythology and radical imagination.
