Ingrid Vermeulen | Opera and Operetta Evening
Soprano Ingrid Vermeulen and pianist Jana Schell present a recital featuring works from the late‑Romantic and early 20th‑century opera and operetta repertoire. Music by Richard Wagner, Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Emmerich Kálmán forms the core of the programme, guiding the audience from intimate, lyrical moments to powerful, expressive passages.
The concert is structured in two parts: an opening set of approximately 45 minutes, followed by an intermission, and a second set of around 30 minutes. In the intimate setting of Sociëteit Arti, a direct musical dialogue emerges, allowing both the lyrical and dramatic qualities of the repertoire to come fully into their own.
