BESPIEGELING of Meeting the Shadow

The exhibition BESPIEGELING, or Meeting the Shadow – in which the encounter with the shadow and the mirrored image form the source; the shadow that follows and accompanies you – presents new work by Natalia Cincunegui, works driven by the desire to share and to touch the heart.

The title conceals multiple meanings: those of contemplation, reflection, and consideration, while also containing the word “mirror.”

Toorop saw it as his duty to elevate the viewer of his works to higher realms of feeling. I align myself with this view.

You are welcome to experience the works for yourself. The artist will be present at the opening and daily between 4:00 and 6:00 PM, or by appointment.
