    Artist Talk with Lynne Leegte

Arti et Amicitiae regularly invites artists to speak about their work and current projects in the society rooms. This time, sculptor Lynne Leegte will be interviewed by Renée Hartog.

Above the mantelpiece hangs Torn, a photograph from 2015 by Lynne Leegte. Why did she choose this particular image, and what is the story behind it? What does it bring to an artistic practice when a sculptor works not only with traditional sculpture but also with photography and spatial installations? And how does she view her artistic practice today, as an artist in her sixties? These and other questions will be explored during the talk on Monday, 31 August.
