Jacob en Coba Ritsema: Curator tour for Arti‑member

Jacob and Coba Ritsema were long‑time members of Arti et Amicitiae and exhibited there regularly. Coba (1876–1961) became one of the most respected painters of her time and was part of the Amsterdam Joffers. Her older brother Jacob (1869–1943) was a successful landscape painter, but ultimately found himself overshadowed by his sister.

During this exclusive Curator Tour, Naftalie Hershler — director of Stichting Kunsttunnel and initiator of the exhibition — guides Arti members through the work of the two siblings, with special attention to their artistic development, their relationship, and their close connection to Arti.
