    Combine your Sunday lunch with the third edition of the Arti Book Club!

    During Arti Book Club #3, Emily Kocken will be in conversation with Hilda Schraa, one of the translators of the work of Fleur Jaeggy. Jaeggy is an Italian-language Swiss author whose work is read and translated worldwide. The conversation will focus on the translation of Jaeggy’s literary oeuvre, as well as her position within contemporary world literature. Jaeggy is known, among other works, for the novels The Blessed Years of Discipline and SS Proleterka.

    Fleur Jaeggy is known for novels such as Proleterka. Her work is read and translated internationally.

    Emily Kocken and Hilda will engage in an in‑depth discussion about style, language, and the choices involved in translating Jaeggy’s work.
